To celebrate the release of our latest collection, The Brewmaster, we decided to whip up some beer infused cocktails and our suggested food pairings in the office this week. Perhaps it got us all a tad unfocused in the middle of the workday, but it was well worth it. Find our three favorite beer cocktail recipes below, and remember: “It’s not about improving the beer, it’s about improving the cocktail.”

Beer Sangria
The essential summertime cocktail mixed with beer - a match made in beer heaven. To give this cocktail our own spin we decided to blend all the ingredients together besides the beer in order to create more of a slushy texture. We then mixed the beer in and floated a few fresh slices of peach on top. The result? An adult version of the slushie.

Ingredients:
24 ounces summer style ale
1 cup peach nectar
2 ounces fresh lemon juice
2 ounces simple syrup
4 ounces Pisco Reservado
2 cups frozen peaches
Preparation: In a large pitcher stir together the peach nectar, lemon juice, simple syrup and Pico. Add the summer style ale and peaches, serve immediately.
Food Pairing: Beer Infused Chocolate Cheesecake with a Pretzel Crust
To complete our beer infused drink and food tasting we decided to make the most decadent cake we could think of - the chocolate beer cheesecake. We decided to top it with fresh berries in order to pair better with the fruity sangria beer cocktail. It took about 2 hours to make, but it was well worth the effort. While the taste of beer was subliminal, the overall effect of the cake was delicious.

After becoming slightly inebriated from these beer cocktails, make sure to shop our newest watch collection, The Brewmaster, watches that are handcrafted from reclaimed wood beer barrels. We hope you have as much fun making these as we did making them for our Friday cocktail hour in the office!
